After the bomb shell of an ending of Facade, I was eager and a little bit scared.First things first, if you don't want to read about rape, torture and murder don't read this book, it's not for you. Warning done.
Two brothers who shared a womb, but like Harry Potter and Lord Voldermort neither can live whilst the other survives. They share a need to destroy each other and take what belongs to them.
Faye had me worried. Which path would she choose?
Just for the record - I'm team Cade. Dante is too much of a mixed up nutcase for me.

Façade was my book of the year for 2014 now I want to bundle them all in one and say this is my series of the year!
I am sure if they were kids in school Ker and DH would not be allowed to sit
next to each other! How their minds worked together to write this story is
just amazing. The dark twisted and heart breaking good characters in this series have me hooked.
We ended FaCade on a cliffy of note! I was chomping at the bit to see where
the story would take us, we learn in those last few seconds of Cade. I know
that my mind would not let this book go and kept going back to it over and
over again.
In Cadence we truly meet Cade and I think for the very first time see just
who Dante really is. I wanted so badly for Dante to turn out the hero, the
nice guy and grow a heart and I kept hoping that all through the story. And
they kept making me hope it even more... BUT... I wanted Cade to win too, I
wanted him to find her and love her and fix what his brother had done. This
book had my feelings all in a twist wanting everyone to win when you know
that they can't.
I have to say that these two ladies certainly know how to write a book that
will have your insides in twist and your heart racing in all directions. I
have become a true fan-girl over these two and wait on baited breath for
each new release. Every time they take me by surprise at just how good their
writing is.
The extra kick for me in this book was the twin dynamic, I know a little
about twins being married to one... The connection between twins is
something that is truly unexplained and I felt the connection whenever the
feelings between the two brothers was brought into the picture. They got it
spot on! (there is always an evil-twin)
For characters that will leave you wondering and wanting so many things you
cannot beat this series. I look forward to the follow up novella from these
two wickedly good minds.
Again, as I said after FaCade - This will not float every ones boat and the
subject matter is dark, but the story within drowns that all out. So there
are no roses and unicorns, but there is an absolutely wonderful story
wrapped in a dark twisted wrapper all tied up with Dante.
Once again two of my favourites have delivered an unforgettably good story.

I thought the first book was good, this book I stopped enjoying the series.
It is pretty much the same ole, same ole...
I do not like the way Dante hits on Faye.
I do not like the fact he still hits her while pregnant with the baby.
I like dark erotica, I guess this is dark due to the fact Dante abuses Faye?
I do not like the fact that their is no Faye and Cade, I did not get enough on Faye and Cade to connect to them, a lot of memories, not the NOW!
Makeup covered my other bruises but the impact of this hit made my lip throb and swell. He would have to look at it his damage this time. << She is pregnant, and he beats her. I do not like that. I do not like the abuse. Do not get me wrong I love when the hero is a beast in the bedroom, but this is not the case.
I also do not like when Hero treats Heroine like this character does, And heroine still enjoys the sex. I hate that. Like he is god or something. Stupid!
My body did awaken when he was naked against me but my hate overruled any subtle desire my whorish body might crave for...
This just is not something I can enjoy. If you like this kind of read, then you will love this series.
I could not hack Gemma James hero's and I can not hack this hero...The abuse makes me so angry I can not enjoy it.
